Flood Relief Appeal

2019 Bangladesh Flood Relief: 200,000 people impacted

20% of Bangladesh has been impacted by a flood caused by heavy rainfall in the upstream. The flood situation is getting worse day-by-day as 20% of the country affected due to flood and approximately 200,000 people are stranded or in extreme conditions.

The flood situation is expected to decline the week by the end of July in some areas of the low lands along the Brahmaputra-Jamuna rivers in Nilphamari, Gaibandha, Kurigram, Jamalpur, Bogra, Sirajganj and Natore districts and the Ganges-Padma at Manikganj, Munshiganj, Rajbari, and Shariatpur districts.
